"I got mine a few months back and while its a great gun, it has some issues.

The foregrip is basically too tight for the lipo, but you can mill it out a bit with a dremel or similar and get it to fit. Bigger problem is magazines. I have tried all the magazines people recommend but literally none of them feed well for it, including the one it came with. I think its because its a 74 instead of a 47-- not sure. Seems like a nice gun but can't take it to the field since 3 different brands of mag don't actually fit in the magwell.

"Awesome gun.

I got mine in the mail yesterday and its so great.

PROS:
The weight on it is awesome if you like the realism in guns.
I also love the foldable stock which is able to be used with the easy push of a button!
The recoil on the gun is also amazing.
Everything on this gun is full metal besides the mag and the polymer grip.

CONS:
Holding the gun for a long period of time can kind of hurt due to its jagged grip.
The hop is is kind of annoying to adjust due the the fact that the spring is so strong.

And that's really it! This gun is awesome

"The B.O.L.T AKSU 74 is an amazing gun and really fun to play with. Bolt is very heavy producing the most recoil I’ve Eve felt on an EBB not as strong as a GBB but definitely up there, it’s build quality is comparable to LCT however (might just be my mine) has a very loose hand guard while no battery is installed not a problem but kinda annoying when trying to hold the gun without a battery in it. but other then that the build quality is absolutely amazing built like a truck, and shoots very far, also shoots a little hot for CQB however you can just use .25s to drop the FPS to around 350 which is perfect for indoor play. Mags are also a pain to get for it.

Pros: amazing recoil system,
Heavy (could be a con but better for immersion)
Very accurate
Comes with mid cap
Amazing build quality
Very nice Cold War era design
Packaged very well
Mine came with a metal flash hider (some don’t)
Mid cap it comes with feeds amazing
No wobble
Foldable stock
Very accurate to real steel although not 100%
Good internals out of the box
Very nice wood furniture
Pretty reliable
Orange tip is very easy to remove don’t even need heat

Cons: heavy (again, better for immersion)
Hop up is difficult to adjust
Flash hider is very difficult to put on (requires disassembly)
Shoots pretty hot (good thing in my opinion but could be bad for indoor players)
Battery space is very limited
Some pieces are loose in my hand guard (could just be mine)
Gun came very well held together, though mashing a battery in the small space has made the handgaurd wobbly
Dusk cover takes a little force to remove
Magazines are very AND I MEAN very picky with this thing good choices are E&L mags and MAG mags
In conclusion this gun is amazing and definitely worth the money

"This gun is amazing, I did a lot of research before buying the gun because of the price. But the gun is totally worth it. With the gun being an electric blow back, I was so much more immersed into the game. I watched JedDesrtFox’s review on YouTube and he had nothing to say but positive things. I would suggest the elite force 11.1 volt Lipo battery for this because it fits into the battery space. The gun packs a punch, it shoots far, and it’s an electric blowback. It’s all you could ask for. I really suggest saving up for this gun, it’s completely worth it. The gun exterior is full metal and REAL wood. This gun is amazing, you should 100% buy it!

"So I have tested it for a bit (like a couple of games) the trigger would stick but I just had to use it a bit it's fine now.
Pros
Nice range, flies straight for a really good distance,
Feeds well depends on mag though. the mag it came with works really well, i like high caps though.
Doesn't hurt too bad after like 150 feet. (not sure of range haven't played long range with it)
Cons
Battery area to hold is a little small, but I'm fine with that.
Trigger would stick for a little when I got it, but it's fine now.
if you fire so fast on semi auto it will jam but I'm using it and it might be getting used to it.
It is picky with mags and I got a cyma mag to work with it.
That's about all the stuff on the top of my head I will be updating this more once I go to more fields. But really nice gun I would give a 8/10 just because some small things that are getting fixed just by playing around with the gun.

"Hello,
This review is for the Bolt AKSU74 BRSS AEG. We received this unit in mid May of 20. The unit has now fired 5K plus bb's, .20 to .32 without stoppage or breakage of anything. Our opinion of this unit is very high, with the possible exception of mags. Our unit is somewhat picky about mags. We have found the E&L AK mags to work best. The battery compartment is very tight for an 11.1. The Elite Force 900mAh works well. You will need some patience here. Overall, the build quality is quite high. It appears to us that the externals may well be of LCT manufacture. Several indicators of this noted. The wooden handguards/other parts such as the triangle rear stock, appear to be completely interchangeable with those of the LCT. Dimensions match those of our GHK 74u. Magazine release housing is attached with Allen screws as opposed to being riveted as is the case with the E&L. All this really means is that this replica is not quite 1:1 in scale to the real steel deal. This brings us to felt recoil. The reason for buying any ebb or GBBR in the first place, right. Well, we can honestly report that the felt recoil of the BRSS system is almost exactly that of the real 5.45mm Russian round, minus the sound report obviously. Our target grouping on full auto even replicated the high right (1:00 position) impacting on the paper target. Evikes price on this unit is very close to a non ebb AEG. Your call.

"An absolute beast of a electric gun, awesome recoil, love the full steel body with real wood_3 and you get so much the the price.

If you ship it to the eu like me, you got to find batteries elsewhere, and remember to keep the the batteries under 10cm long and 2,5cm wired.

"Excellent recoil and built so it lasts long!
Be aware to use a battery no longer than 3.5 inches for the hand guard. Highly recommend!

"Built tough, made to last and good weight!
PLEASE BE AWARE THIS TAKE A VERY SHORT BATTERY, NO MORE THAN 3.5 INCHES!
I'm using a 11.1V-15C-10Wh battery
Pros:
-Strong Recoil
-Good Power
-Good Range
-Sturdy Build
Cons:
-Small Battery compartment

"Metal Body and real wood. The recoil on this bad boy is amazing. This gun is really designed to last.

"The gun itself is great, but it is one of the pickiest when it comes to magazines (I've found that E&L make good mags for this gun) but overall a great gun.

"Just got this gun and and fielded at my local field. Out of the box the gun feels amazing and solid. It comes with the orange m4 flash hider installed but is easily removed for a different 14mm hider or you can remove the whole adapter and add the included metal ak style hider.
The kick on this feels amazing! I've owned gbb, Daytona and tm recoil shocks and I gotta say this feels great, especially of full auto! Accuracy is decent, not great but it's recoil plays into that. Running with an 11.1 I was very surprised at how snappy the trigger was. Your not going to be able to spam this trigger like an Hpa but instead gives you a more realistic feel. I had to max out the hop with .25 bbs but the range was very impressive for how small it is. The battery space on this sad to say sucks. I ordered the smaller elite force 11.1 like everyone said but it is still extremely tight. I ended up getting the connector off and splicing dean's to add a hair more room.
All and all I absolutely love this gun and it's been one of the funest guns I've ran in years. Just get past the horrible battery space and I gurantee you'll fall in love with this.
4 stars only for the battery space.

"Worth the money, however, a few things need addressed.

PROS
---------
- Great recoil, with or without using the stock, the gun does kick. If you're using an 11.1v lipo, these things kicks fast.
- Solid construction, the gun is heavy, that also adds to the kick. Stamped steel, wood, and bakelite.
- The stock grip is decent.
- The stock and sights are constructed well.
- Disassembling this gun is not hard.

CONS
---------
- Magazines are a nightmare with this. I have bought several AK style mags and I'm never sure which are going to work. This gun is modeled after a 5.45x39 variant rifle, and the majority of the market cranks out 7.62x39 magazines. I believe the shape of these magazines may have something to do with that, but I'm not entirely sure. Anyhow, be careful which magazines you purchase for this.

- There is little-to-no room for modding this weapon. You may get lucky and come across a replica Zenit B-18 rail for this, but, compatibility for this is tough to find. Even some of the replacement grip systems do not work for this. I tried the Matrix Aluminum RIS Rail System for this gun, and did not have a good time trying to make it work. Eventually ended back at using the stock wooden furniture. BOLT might want to consider developing a few functional mods for those who wish to expand upon this platform.

- Adjusting the hop-up itself is a pain. The charging handle has a lot of resistance, holding back up the handle itself while trying not to get your fingers slammed into it is a bit tough. Not sure if there is a way to remedy this, however, just be careful.

- The gun is heavy. A pro as much as a con. If you aren't into realistic weight, this is definitely not for you. After a few hours your arm(s) will definitely feel the weight of this.

All in all, if you're into EBB (electric blowback), heavy weight, and a fun AEG to fire, this is for you definitely.

"The bolt aksu74 is a fun gun but with a few drawbacks in quality that kind of take away from the fun. I possibly have a bad model. Have used it for 3 games.

Pros -
Unbeatable recoil for an electric gun
Heavy weight
Feeds perfectly

Cons-
Hop up is propietary and cannot be removed to improve range which is very limited. (Cannot change barrel/bucking)
Gun may lock up after firing for awhile
Stock is very very loose and does not lock sufficiently
