"I own this and the TM variant and here is the positives and negatives of this gun compared to it.
POSITIVES:
+This one is heavier and feels more realistic
+The gun is all black and looks more realistic because of this (does not have silver serial numbers though)
+Takes gas VERY easily from my propane adapter making it more efficient
+The rear sites are adjustable
+more accurate out of box
NEGATIVES:
-Loading the mag sucks; it's one of those hard to push mags that don't really have a dedicated place to load BB's so you have to squeeze them into where they come out. A speedloader is almost required.
-Uglier rear dots

Honestly, I like this one better than the TM variant but the TM one is still good. It's more of preference imo.

"Update as of 09/17/2022

Had an issue with the slide catch not working.

Dissassembled pistol to find that they made the inner skeleton that surrounds the slide out of polymer, and the metal slide catch had indeed broke a chunk off of the plastic, rendering the slide catch fully inoperable.

I used a razor blade and simply cut out more plastic in a sharper angle, adding a small indent towards the bottom of my new cut in the skeleton to offer better slide catch engagement and to prevent the slide from prematurely slipping off of the already flimsily designed spot for it to engage.

It is back to engaging strongly and I only rarely, if ever have the slide snap shut if I slam a magazine in hard. It cuts the engagement back about an 1/8th of an inch, so I would assume as this will have to eventually be done again in the future to keep the slide catch operational as the polymer will fail again, I could run into an issue with clearance as the slide catch engages/releases.

No answer from Cybergun yet if they will offer replacement parts for this issue.

Only issue I have encountered on this pistol. Bought it in March and aside from this, it’s still shooting away!

"First off, Beautiful replica!

FNH markings are where they need to be. First impressions are 8/10 because the pistol slide is relatively loose to the actual pistol frame, and the fact that the orange tip is HIDEOUS as well as hard to remove.

Anyways.

This pistol is clean, clear, and obviously a massive upgrade from the old school Maruzen pistol.

Gun itself
Light
ALL polymer. Metal is scarce on the outside
Crisp to an extent
Seems loopy and sloppy for a licensed FN product
Safety is CRISP
Trigger pull is sloppy
Still releases slide catch with strong magazine insertion (but don’t all GBBP’s do it?)
Field dissassembly simplified, though not as easy as a 1911 (need nails or terminator fingers) to pull the slide unlock catch back
Internals are great
Strong blowback
Quality magazines

All I can say is, USE PROPANE. This gun doesn’t do well on Green Gas alone. Barely cycles a full magazine.
*review is based on Benzomatic propane*

Magazines are great. No wobble, heavy, ZERO leaks. Good job Cybergun. I’ve dropped them on concrete for testing during mag drop reloads and they hold up fine! Seals are great as well.
Gun is great. Cycles like a dream, slide lock is STRONG, safety is super, super fun and crisp. Lots of people hate it, but train with it and you’ll be disengaging it as you draw it. No other frwtures, just rack and fire 17 off. Locks back strong, fires strong. 2000+ rounds and not a jam, misfire, or issue yet!

Please use Propane with this gun. I don’t have a chrono but with .25’s it cycles a full 17 round magazine mag dump no issue. Even on low silicone oil it cycles perfectly fine!

Solid pistol. I’ve been hunting for two years for a sidearm, I finally saw this and went for it. Got the package with gas and an extra magazine, at $36 they’re steep but they’re not really affected by cooldown.

I ordered 5 magazines, and over my entire useage of the pistol for 2k rounds have came across not a single stoppage or issue with gun OR magazine.
Cybergun stepped it up and made an excellent GBB this time around. Definitely one of my favorite designs of all time and it’s more than functional.

9/10 reccomend other than the gap between the slide and frame and orange tip the gun is shipped with.

"I just ordered this gun came in yesterday 1/6/21 tested it and I'm amazed at this pistol truly beautiful now as far as firing the gun goes it's pretty cool has a suitable recoil to it surprisingly and i don't know if they'll do this for all but mine came with the hop up already pre adjusted for .25 thank you for doing that and for including the Alen key wrench to adjust the hop up magazine has no gas leaks which is amazing and surprisingly light for it being all metal the slide is smooth and oh so satisfying and does have a rail for flashlight/Lazer if you run both

Now those are some pros now to cons.
Cons: the pistol grip is a little big for an average airsofters hands the pistol feels great in my hands because my hands are bear paws but for a kid or teenager or even an adult that has smaller hands might not work for you but if you can make it work make it work
The gun doesn't have threads or an adapter if you're the type to add tracer or flash hider to the gun reason why there's no option for an attachment is because the outer barrel on the gun is actually the inner and outer barrel in one

Now that's just my opinion the cons wouldn't worry about them to much that's just me nit picking for thought of other different types of players overall it's a great gun oh for got to mentioned on a hot day chronos at 320-325fps on a cold day it's an even 300

"Pros -
*Great over all weight with gun and mag together.
*Lots of fun to play around with and feels really good to shoot
*The essentials pack is a great deal at $200 for what would be double the price if bought separately
*Its an excellent looking hand gun and is mostly faithful to the original.

Cons -
*The mag is 75% of the over all weight and while this isn't a jab at this specific airsoft pistol and rather is aimed at the five seven in general its still a con.
*The mag release is extremely easy to push, if you have a holster that isn't custom made to not accidentally press on the magazine release or one that keeps the magazine release outward from your body so it isn't pressed against you, you are going to drop a mag and not even notice it until you reach for the pistol. I almost lost the magazine so many times my first time trying to use this because the mag release kept being activated.
*certain plastic parts are very fragile, parts with strain on them like the guide rail on the frame for the slide or the Slide lock catch I found breaking on me and I had to either jerry rig it to fix it as the warranty had worn out or buy a new pistol and simply use the old one for spare parts if something else breaks.

Despite these things I really do love this pistol, its one of my favorite handgun models and is a real joy to use. However with these issues I genuinely warn you about buying this pistol, be ready to buy replacement parts and to be careful with how you carry it when holstered so that the mag doesn't drop while you are running.

"Great pistol, my only complaint is how sensitive the magazine release is. There were many times during my first game with it where the mag release was consistently being triggered in my holster from the slightest amount of pressure, and many times I had to back track to find where the magazine had fallen from when I was running. Get a holster that you know wont trigger the magazine release if you buy this

"Let me start with I'm a big fan of the real steal FN 57 so maybe I'm a little bias but I'll try to be explicit so you can make your conclusion. This is definitely not a gun for someone with small hand as anyone who knows this gun should know but in my hands fit perfectly and as a left handed, the controls are perfect, safety on both sides, bolt release on the right (no accidental release), big tall adjustable sights, very good unique looking, nice texturize trigger, mags fit nice and tight, and the slider is super easy to take out. It does have a few flaws, the slider is quite loose on all directions, and the hop up, god have mercy on my soul, you need a hex screw to adjust the hop up and not only that, just to access the screw you need to take out the whole barrel assembly, on the bright sight is a more precise adjustment but is kind of annoying, it does have a good seal and seems to be a good enough hop up but time will tell, it needs to be break in, ohh on that note, the whole barrel assembly is proprietary, the hop up chamber is slightly larger that 1911/glock, the bucking have a weird shape and the barrel is similar to one for an AEG, it doesn't have outer barrel either so no tracer. I wouldn't recommended for main gun or first gbb but it is still like and is a good gbb overall.

"(New review as my old one no longer reflects how I feel about the gun)
It works great, looks great, feels great. I was almost turned off cause of the price tag but I'm glad I followed through. Has a weird thing where the switch for taking off the slide shakes around, making a small sound, but that is the only problem. The underbarrel rail is well made, and the polymer seems sturdy enough.

"For a $150 ish dollars I'd expect a bit better as after 3 day the trigger link broke and now the gun is a brick and this wasn't heavy use I shot half a mag, finished, and dry fired it and the trigger link radio broke it need either a better quality trigger link or more material on it because that was a major problem

Pros:
•it feels good
•accurate
•the frame and slide feel solid

Cons:
•crap trigger link design and material
