"I just got the AkS 105 and it's very high-quality and shoots amazing out of the box, the only issue is that the quick-change spring screw is covered a little bit by a bar or something and I haven't figured out how to take it off. It doesn't come with a manual that tells you how to take it off, but it comes apart like the real thing.

"this gun shots very well when I got it outta box but for some reason the hop up got messed up so replaced it with a new one and a angel customs barrel shoots like a laser beam now and one thing they got wrong in the description was the thread is not 14mm its 24mm had to return a 14mm one i bought for a 24mm one but over all its a good gun.

"tis' nice, had to use a 8.4v stick, and it fired pretty well. havent had the chance to try it with a 9.6, because the info page is wrong. DO NOT BUY A SMALL TYPE FOR ANY OF THESE. they are all stick type battery users.

since everybody and their mothers are doing "pros & cons", heres mine.
pros:
- FPS with a 3 y/o 8.4v stick was between 250-300 FPS (using .32s)
- sturdy. full metal construction makes it very sturdy, however, once you begin adding more parts to it, the weight
becomes a little too heavy for my liking. (see my build section for more info)
- nitpick, but the sound the bolt makes when you rack it is nice

cons:
- weight, since the fun is full metal, if you buy this, i suggest buying a sling.
- length. the gun deffo is not meant to be a CQB gun, although it is very possible. when i use my gun, i always
switch to my pistol if i have to go indoors.

i bought the crane stock version with intent on creating a NATO-esque AK74, this is the partlist and some words of warning:

Gun: This one, Crane stock version

DC: CYMA Dust Cover (warning: the gun and this DC does fit out the box, but the pin for the DC wont fit in the guns rearsight hole, meaning its possible the dust cover will fall off the gun if the gun is held vertically (only ran into this problem when there was an optic on the dust cover, and taking the stock rear sight out is a pain in the a**)

HG: SLR SOLO MLOK. this too wont fit out the box. the gun has a Sling Loop that can not be removed unless you remove the gasblock, front sight, and muzzle device. i took mine into an airsoft station store, and they took the stuff off just fine.

Stock: EMG "BRAVO" slimline will work out the box. and imo, looks WAAAY better on the gun than the standard M4 stock thats already on it

Mags: Matrix DLS 200 Round Midcaps. they may look like AK47 mags (they are), but they work just fine with the AK74, since there is no caliber besides 6mm BBs and both AK47 and 74 mags use the same feeding mechanism (aeg 47s and 74s that is, no clue about GBBRs)

this one is user preference, but i used a Ferro Slingster clone from Aliexpress, and it hasnt failed me yet.

this part list should work for any of the other AKs variants, aside from the stock. for that you will need to buy a AK-buffertube adapter.

"I got the AKS105. I thought this was going to be a rebranded CYMA, but its actually a rebranded S&T. Externally its pretty decent but there are some slight defects in the one I got. The push button and lock for the folding stock is deformed on mine. The push button is bent upward and the locking part seems bent inward. There is also some burs on the large pin hole that attaches the barrel to the receiver. Other than that the externals are fine.

I havent fully disassembled the gun yet, but removing the top cover reveals a metal hop chamber and a QD spring guide. I did remove the pistol grip which revealed 8mm bearings. I was also able to determine this was made by S&T from the anti reversal latch access hole and the clear shrink wrap on the motor.

So far I think this will make a great platform to upgrade having a 8mm qd gearbox.

"Internals are solid, its made of steel so it has a nice weight to it. I dont know if this is just a me problem or not but it was delivered with a severely damaged muzzle and covered in rust so i sent it back, only for it to return to me in an identical poor condition. maybe smthn got tripped up in shipping but i wouldnt recommend this unless its on sale for half off because the delivery for Cybergun can be dubious
