"I got this gun essentially brand new in a trade a month ago. It slaps. Never owned an ICS in my life but they are good. Build quality, gearbox, barrel system, battery storage, all excellent. It is finicky with mags, my BAMF and Matrix mid caps will misfeed every ten shots. I put tape around the mags and now it is fine. The e-trigger is insane, very fast response and ROF with an 11.1v lipo. 3 round burst is sick. No idea why but mine wont work at all with a 7.4v. Not that big a deal to me though.
BY THE WAY - this gun works with a MAXX model M4P hopup with no modification. I have a Mr Hop bucking, omega nub, and a lambda 6.05 barrel in it and it shoots lasers. Only upgrade you should even consider for this gun. Dont touch the gearbox, its art.

"Great gun. RPS is decent. Very good quality body.
The fuse sometimes gets loose so if it randomly stops working make sure the fuse is all the way in.
Also the HopUp dial is stiff. Other than that it is a very reliable and sturdy gun.

"gun is awesome. great trigger response. the sound will draw attention to you on the field of play, in good way. i have been more than happy with this gun. i have bought cheaper guns, but realized this gun is priced for a reason. great gun, i would buy this again. it is a killa on the field !!! best gun we have had so far. the only thing that it does not have that i want, is a 3 round burst. but i think you can add that with mods. still, it shoots so fast, you pull trigger and let off, its just like 3 round burst. if you are getting into airsoft, spend the money and get something good like this gun. you will not be disappointed!!!!

"This gun is amazing! This is my first "professional" AEG. And it is more than expected. Packs enough power for CQB and Medium distance engagements. The gun is amazing and would recommend it to anybody looking for a GREAT rife.

"This gun is amazing! Small enough for CQB and versatile enough for outdoor games too, packs enough punch for medium range combat makes this a great all around airsoft gun. The MK18 handguard is sturdy, useful and nice.

"I got this weapon for an upcoming MilSim event in CA (Kharkiv) hill 559. I’m pleased with its performance thus far out of the box.
It’s a very solid feeling airsoft weapon and the trigger feels amazing, solid build and really love how easy it is to work on with the split gear box. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good immersive experience without paying for gas blowback magazines.

"I'm gonna keep it simple. I got the FDE color, 400 fps.
Pros
-Amazing quality build
-all metal main features
-branding looks great
-DD markings look great
-crane stock can fit a stick battery if you have it fully extended
-qd sling point and ambi strap on end of the receiver/buffer tube
-ics branding on sling point
-hop up stays set (rotary)
-excellent grouping at a far range
-burst and auto is fun, with precocking and ability to disable it if you wanted
-safety decompresses spring from precocking
-ebb function looks great* (see cons)
-looks super tactical with a light and pressure switch, red dot, and angled grip.
-very positive selector switch feedback
-comes with 2 extra fuses and cleaning rod deans head* (see cons)
-pistol grip is probably the best I've felt comfort-wise and grip-wise, plus cool design!
Cons
-doesn't do the thing (mock bolt release doesn't have a function)
-magwell is really wide, making mag fitment possibly an issue (the mag it comes with is wobbly in the magwell and with PTS EPM mags)
-the included mag can literally be pulled out without pressing the mag release
-ebb function is kind of weak. on a scale of 0-5, 0 being a regular AEG and 5 being a GBBR its a solid 1.
-ebb feels more like a rattle than a recoil simulation attempt, I guess its something.
-only 1 qd attachment point (on the stock), PUT ONE ON THE RAIL
-the deans "adapter" it comes with seems to be just a replacement deans head, not a small tamiya-to-deans.
Verdict
-Honestly, I give it a 9/10 despite the cons. It feeds well, and maybe I just have to find different mags the feed just as good but better fitment. This is likely the best EBBR M4 variant you can find that looks like a real model. It performs amazing and the EBB wont shake itself to pieces.. unlike other types. If you want a GBBR but don't want to spend a fortune on mags and gas, let alone a great replica alone, this is likely the best you will find in electric. I've been looking around for a M4A1 with the same or similar functions and could find any at least that were affordable and in Stock. This isn't an M4A1 and wasn't sure if I would like the barrel length, but in-person it looks great barebones, and especially with attachments.
If you're thinking "I'm not sure if I like that barrel length, I wish it was longer.." I thought the same. If you throw a mock suppressor or tracer unit, it will look more like what you want/expect, if you don't already like the in-person impression of it. A longer mock suppressor/tracer looks sick and fills in that extra length you think you want/need.. believe me. Besides, after some thinking, I realized that this length suits cqb if you want to run an m4 platform AND outdoor, especially with a mock suppressor for extra length.
You'll like it. If you still wanted an M4, well guess what, just get a 12.5in quad rail (mk18 is 9.5 inch) and 3in barrel extensions and you got it. Then you can switch between 2 models with one receiver, save a little money.

"Extremely impressed with this guns performance out of the box. It feels very clean and well built, no rattles or movement, its one of my most real feeling airsoft guns, on par with or better than my KWAs or VFCs. Range and accuracy blew me away, I typically put a tightbore and different bucking in every gun I buy, this is the first gun that I have had no desire to change or upgrade. I'm running .40g on stock components and they are insanely precise. I did throw in a heavier spring to get it up to about 450 fps, and the gun sounds exactly the same, not strained or sluggish under the weight of the spring. I also tend to shoot a lot so time will tell if the internals hold up to that amount of abuse, but the split gearbox design really lives up to the hype. I've already had it partially apart and when or if this gun fails then it will be such a breeze to work on, its really a techs dream.
