"The carbine is more compact. My friend has the carbine its awesome too. But, he complains that he doesnt have enough range sometimes. The A2 doesnt have detachable a detatchable handle. Thats the only real difference. If u want range, then get this. If u want compact, get carbine. Hope this helps.

"This gun rocks the boat! Ive had it for a few months now and has been my favorite gun so far. The internals seem reliable too. I have stock internal with a G&P M203 and a nice red dot and this beast dominates the field EZ!!!!!! My only problem has been blowing a fuse.

"Hey, I plan to buy this soon, But i am wondering, about the front sight, can i take that one off and replace it with a folding sight(one of those fold up circular sights) and still use the hand guard it came with?

"I got this gun last week. This gun is a DOPE! its made of metal. It shoots accurate and it has just enough fps. Get yourself a 9.6v battery and this will be a machine!

"I'll get to the points:
Pros
-Full size assault rifle for people that want that classic 1980 - 1999 look for their loadout (like me!)
-Great FPS, shot over 400 out of the box. Definitely a field rifle
-Metal receiver and metal gear box
-Good range and accuracy
-sights are really good and other than the plastic used in the rear aperture, it worked and felt like the real one I used in the military including how you adjust them (FYI it came with a special plastic piece to adjust the front sight, since in the real world you would use an unfired round to do it).
-Sling mounts are real metal and work great with traditional 2-point over-the-shoulder sling type.
-only $150 for a decent AEG
Cons
-The stock and handguard are ABS plastic, replace with REAL (ie for a real AR15) polymer ones ASAP
-Battery was wired to stock (great!) but rattled like a mofo. Definitely find a way to pad or silence it.
-Fire selector can sometimes be bumped out of place, swivels a little too easily
-Sometimes I would fire in semi-auto too quickly and the gears would lock, couldn't pull trigger either. Had to select full auto, fire a burst and this let me select back to semi and fire normally.
-It's a LONG rifle by modern standards where most people in Airsoft AND the real world are using carbines (like the M4). Then again, if you're looking at an M16... it's probably what you want, maybe not a CON? It wasn't to me, it's what I wanted.

"this guns great i love it ,it came in yesterday i unboxed hoooked up a battery to it in started shootin n it was great it has a nice trigger pull solid body other than the stock thts a little bit wobbly but thts fine but i have one question what is the wrench in the box for i read the manual but i couldnt find any thing about it
