"I LOVE this gun. Its extremely accurate at 75 feet with .25 BBs. I hit the target inside the circle every time. I am looking forward to running it and upgrading it for years in the future and definately looking forward to see how it runs after i throw on some after market upgrades o to it. Only reason i have put it as four stars is because the fire selector switch on mine was broken. Easy fix and an extreme rarity with this gun as i have seen little to no complaints about this rifle. Also, the description is wrong. This gun comes with two standard m4 hi cap mags, an 8.4 volt battery, charger, unjamming rod, and a front sight adjustment tool. For 209 bucks, this is WORTH IT!

"Good gun shoots hard it actually cracked the field I play in car window but I put a LiPo in but the LiPo will put more wear on the gun the default battery will make the trigger response terrible sometimes you may think the gun dies just flip it to safety really quick then back to which ever firing mode you need and it'll work fine. Good gun all in all

"I've had mine for around a year and have used it at 3 different events. So far it's been reliable and a fun gun to use. I upgraded the stock 300 mm inner barrel to a MadBull 407 mm 6.01 tightbore which I covered with a Mach suppressor, along with a Prometheus Flat Hop bucking and nub. It comes with a rotary style hop-up which is nice. I run .28s through it and it shoots like a dream. Very consistent out to about 200 feet. I've been using an 11.1v small-brick LiPo (yes-it fits in the stock) for about 6 months and the gun has handled it well. Overall, it's a solid performing gun--especially if you spend the money and upgrade the inner barrel. Would recommend to players looking for a gun that isn't an M4 but still accepts M4 mags and V2 gearbox upgrades. The reason I'm giving 4/5 is because I wish it had a MOSFET pre-installed. Other rifles of comproable price have them already installed. And the rubber butt pad is loose and it fell off of my rifle mid-game and I lost it.

"This was my first airsoft gun and it's pretty solid. With that said, I would only buy it on sale.
Pros:
Full metal
Takes m4 mags
375 FPS
Loads of fun
Cons:
Wobbly stock
The screws on the front sight come loose easily and move the sight with them
The battery compartment is really small and it's really awkward to put batteries in and take them out
The dust cover comes off really easily
I am satisfied with this gun and most of the cons can be overlooked but, I would be pissed off if I payed full price for it.

"Awesome gun overrall, with some slight issues. The gun performs very well. I've had it for over a year now, and it hasn't had an serious issues or parts breaking. The only issue I've had is with the selector. The gun only fires in full auto now, but can still be shot in semi if you've got good trigger manipulation. Another small issue I've had is with external parts being loose out of the box. More specifically; the front site, upper and lower receiver, and stock. Not a huge issue, but still something that shouldn't be happening out of the box. For the internals, the gun is great. I use .28s and I have great accuracy and range. The battery compartment is kinda small, but it's just fine if you want to use a 7.4 lipo. You can fit a 9.6 nunchuck, but it's kinda annoying. I've seen people say you need to remove the stock, but I haven't found that to be necessary. I just fully extended the stock and slowly and gently worked the battery into the gun. So overall, it's an awesome gun. I'd definitely recommend it.

"great gun for a great price
pros
good weight
best accuracy of any gun out of the box ive ever shot
comes with barrel extension
nice velocity
feels very close to the real rifle
everything that is really metal on the fn mk16 is metal on the dboy scar
cons
very hard to work on (not for the novice) the lower reciever must be pried open to remove the gearbox
not very compatible with m4 gearboxes (air nozzel is a little longer)
stock hop up broke very quickly (replace with the echo 1 scar hop up)
colors are WAY off
stock wont fit a small 9.6v block type
after a few weeks of play i decided to throw in the echo 1 hop up Systema 6.04 Tight Bore High Performance Straight Inner Barrel 460mm ( G3), it stuck out past the barrel extension by about 2-3 inches and a silencer covered it just fine. it shoots even further and more accurate now. after a final paintjob with some flat tan paint its very skirmishable.

"overall pretty ok gun but i found out over time that you do need a new battery and to find right battery size for it is hard and the other thing is over time the stock clip wears out and you can no longer fold the stock wich doesnt really matter where i play with my team but the folding stock is nice for milsim. Very realistic gun hop up is easy to get to but i did have to grease the mag well because it was tough to release the mag overall i recommend this gun for beginners and economic players its no more than your average aeg

"Its a great gun for the price. Great starter gun. It also uses m4 mags which are easy to find.
OK now for the bad its a little heavy. The battery is a pain to get in and out.
NOTE: It says it only come with the gun itself but it actually come with a mag a fore grip and BBS and a barrel extender. You will have to buy battery and charger.

"I bought this gun five days ago and at first I was really happy with it. It had good fps and I love the look of the scar. But when I played my first game with it the folding stock broke, so I wasn't able to keep it full length. and this gun has a very small battery compartment so if you plan on getting a lypo or any other type of battery, this gun probably wont be able to hold it, unless you drill a hole in the back of the stock an attach a pouch like I did
pros
- high fps (around 410 or 430)
- all metal (except the stock)
- takes m4 mags
- is lypo ready
cons
- stock brakes VERY EASILY
- its a pain to get a different battery for it other then the one it comes with
- the iron sights that come with it are not very good (it would be a good idea to get a scope)
I dont regret buying this gun but you may have to replace the stock like I am going to do.

"i got this gun last year, and i have constantly had fun shooting it, yet the gun has some downsides.
Pros:
Fps is hot.
very nice construction
intimidating look
working charging handle
ambidexterous
Cons:
Heavy
CANT fit a 9.6
rof is kinda bad out of the box
Overall i would buy this gun if i were beginning airsoft or looking for a gun other than m4s which everyone has. if you put the time and effort into it, it can be one heck of a gun.

"The ECHO 1 ASC or the SCAR L is pretty good for beginner and competition style skirmishes but the only thing that i dont like about this model is that the stock wont fit a 9.6 battery unless u take the back of stock off and make some changes with the battery space but i would just suggest u get the scar h because the battery compartment is bigger and u dont have 2 make room for a 9.6 because they put more room in the stock
PROS:
- FULL METAL upper reciever
- comes with barrel extenson
- rail system
- folding sights for when u want optics
CONS:
- battery compartment is crap cant fit 9.6
- wires r exposed when stock is folded

"I've had this gun for almost a month now. A really nice gun.
PROS
High FPS
Metal Upper Reciever
very accurate
very durable
looks beastly
very nice sound
CONS
not full metal like i expected
comes with 2 crappy magazines that misfeed like crazy
beside that its a great gun and a great buy
Webmaster: All full metal scar have "metal upper receiver" just like MP5 series AEG. There is no such thing as metal scar folding stock or metal motor grip, even on the real thing...just FYI.
