"I bought the gun as an alternative for an m4 when I got it the materials felt solid and of quality the top rail is a little slim the front sight broke and bent when the gun took a fall the gearbox feels solid the gun fires quite accurately and quite far over a really quality buy for its price

"Just purchased this gun last week and so far it's not bad. The only issues I've had with it is the intervals are pretty horrible, the bucking is low grade, and the selector switch only fires full auto for me. I put in a new 500 mm barrel with silencer and a new hop up with new bucking and honesty this gun is perfect with it. Shot around 330 fps with .25 bbs and with the upgrades its a tank. Still need to learn how to fix the gear box.

"Just received two of these. They were heavily discounted, so they seemed to be a good deal. Some modifications will be neccesary to really get the most out of this gun, but I'll go over that in a minute.
Pros:
Seems to be very well put-together. Lots of metal parts (including the upper reciver), relatively solid "feel", and somewhat heavy.
Quality hardware (the screws, nuts and bolts that hold it together)
Reliable so far (just plinking/informal shooting)
Good magazine fitment *IF* you seat the magazine properly. If you just shove it in, it will flop around and not feed. The mag has to be seated carefully, with upwards/forward pressure towards the front of the magwell until a small click is heard/felt. You'll know it's seated because it will stop flopping around and feel very solid.
Inlcudes TWO very good high capacity magazines! One of which was a Noveske mag body from the AWB-era, with "restricted" engraving on it. Interesting historical artifact if you're old enough to remember the democrat-written AWB of 1994.
Inlcudes a 4" barrel extension, optional, just for appearences. You don't need to use it however. The threads on the barrel and the extension are both 14mm negative.
Cons:
Stock 8.4V inlcuded battery is just not enough.
Stock battery compartment only holds an 8.4V mini battery. The rate of fire with an 8.4V is essentially so slow it's basically like a really fast semi-auto rate of fire. To really be fun, the gun needs a 9.6V. Whether or not the internals are up to long-term use with a 9.6V battery remains to be seen, but I suspect they are based on the quality of the rest of the gun.
The rear peep sight hole is SMALL! I mean teeny, tiny SMALL! It's about 1.5mm. Contrast that to the 4mm+ hole in the AR-type peep sights, and this sight is hard to use.
Pressed-and-pinned on orange plastic flash hider is very tough to remove. Needs a 1.5mm hex driver to get the set screw out, and then the flash hider must be twisted off with vise grips, destroying it in the process. This is ok though, because it was unthreaded junk to begin with. Throw it away.
Likewise for the inlcuded forward vertical grip. It's junk. Toss it out and get a Matrix instead.
Modifications:
Battery compartment enlargement - disassemble the shoulder stock componnents. Using a handheld belt-sander, remove material from the rear of the battery compartment by sanding the rear "arch" back to within about 1" of the rear of the compartment. You will need to do the same for the interior sliding portion of the stock, too. You can use the outer stock as a template for the inner one. The small, flip up access cover aslo needs to have material removed to allow it to open farther. These three steps will allow easy use of a 9.6V battery and only take about 10 minutes to do.
Rear sight - using a drill press and drill press vise, or vertical milling machine, simply drill out the existing peep-hole to a larger diameter, say .125" or 1/8". The sight is aluminum, and ordinary HSS drill bits will go through it easily. Spray paint it flat black afterwards. The sight picture then resembles an AR-15A2-type sight on the 0-200 setting. Much easier to see through.
With just these two simple modifications, these guns are now much more fun and user-friendly.

"This is a great gun! I got this a few weeks back and it feeds perfectly. It has a decent rate of fire and the fps is great for outdoors. Here are some Pro's and Con's.
Pro:
It has good FPS
It feeds well
It's accurate
Good price for great quality
Comes with a few extra pieces not mentioned in the description
Con:
Mine came with a VERY wobbly gas block, ended up not being able to tighten it so I had to improvise
It is heavy (if you are looking for light, turn away now)
IT DOES NOT TAKE ANYTHING ABOVE A 8.4v! DO NOT TRY TO FIT A 9.6v!
It needs .25g (not really that much of a con, but it depends on the user)
I hope this helped! It's a good buy, especially for a different type of gun.

"I have had this gun for about a year now and must say that it is OKAY for the price. Gun shoots well and looks cool now that I dressed it up. Like others have stated the selector switch stopped working and mine shoots full auto only now, also parts fall off real easy like the screw supports. The battery is a pain to put in and out but after I started having issues with the wiring shorting out I ran them to the top into a PEQ box, it also made the gun look cooler. Still a good by for the price plus I get a lot of looks and drools at the field.

"This gun is pretty good for the price, but it has a few "quirks". When you get the gun and disassemble it, you will notice that it has a couple extra inches of wiring stuffed up inside the receiver. (not that bad, just cut it.), gets REALLY hot when you shoot it a lot with a lipo, the selector switch stopped going to full auto, so I took it apart and fixed it, put it back in the gun, but i had to disable the ambidextrous controls and it is still hard to click on to full auto.
Pros:
Amazingly accurate
fairly solid
reliable gearbox
ITS A SCAR
cons:
wiring
selector switch
front sight broke off in shipping
black gas block (they are supposed to be silver)
glued on flash hider
hard to disassemble

"This gun is pretty darn good for a sportline, nice polymer, high rof, high fps.
Pros:high rof
High fps
Comfotable
Light wieght
Strong polymer
Nice flip up sights
All mags I threw in it had little to no wobble
Cons: pistol grip a bit wobbly
Sometimes the trigger doesnt respond
Which got me shot in the ear
Over all a perfect gun for a starter to intermediate players

"This is a great gun. Ignore the facebook comment section because they're all ignorant and believes this is a really bad gun, in fact it isnt, but i do agree that it does have a couple of cons.
Pros:
Metal upper reciever
Adept for external upgrades
FPS
Rate of Fire with 9.6v
Easily accessible hop-up
Takes most M4 mags
Extremely solid
Very ergonomic with various options to customize it
Cons:
Polymer lower reciever and stock (Though it is very durable and wont scratch easily)
Non-functioning bolt catch
Polymer top rail (Still very durable, can handle a lot)
Glued on orange tip when recieving package (Im norwegian so you dont need orange flash hiders around here, but was easy to remove with a knife)
9.6v is kinda tricky to get into the stock, cant retract further than 3 (almost fully retracted, just one notch away)
Overall i really like the SCAR, if you're a beginner or are looking to buy a kind of good gun for a really good price, then i suggest you buy this. Its not of the proline, extreme airsofts, but its very good overall.

"When I first I got this gun I thought wow this is amazing! It broke about 6 times on me I had to buy a Matrix Turbo Motor and a typebore barrel. I upgraded the gun exterenaly by adding an EGLM Grenade Launcher. Black Dimand Rail Covers. Extra Magpul EMags. a QD Mock Suppressor (Im Probably Changing It To A Long Barrel). And a Red Dot Scope.
Pros: Shoots Amazingingly Accuritely
Very Light (At First)
Cons: When buying the gun be prepared to get new internalls just a warning that happend to me.
To put a 9.6 battery you needa dremel the back peice off for room
Gets very heavy externally for me 35 pounds.

"I bought this gun five days ago and at first I was really happy with it. It had good fps and I love the look of the scar. But when I played my first game with it the folding stock broke, so I wasn't able to keep it full length. and this gun has a very small battery compartment so if you plan on getting a lypo or any other type of battery, this gun probably wont be able to hold it, unless you drill a hole in the back of the stock an attach a pouch like I did
pros
- high fps (around 410 or 430)
- all metal (except the stock)
- takes m4 mags
- is lypo ready
cons
- stock brakes VERY EASILY
- its a pain to get a different battery for it other then the one it comes with
- the iron sights that come with it are not very good (it would be a good idea to get a scope)
I dont regret buying this gun but you may have to replace the stock like I am going to do.
