"First of I'm not shure how I feel about this thing the actual tracer unit (suppresser) seems sturdy but isn't snugg on my 14 mm threads on my evo but looks great. Secondly the pec box aka the bb counter and all that jazz is like really really cheap plastic not shure if this is worth 100$ but I mean every thing woks is exactly as described it's awsome but durability wise I think it's gunna break within the next year or so 😑

"Happy - ish.

First let me begin by saying I'm happy overall with the product, albeit a few misgivings.

I eagerly awaited the arrival of this product, excited by what I had been told it could do. It came in a well-packaged, minimalist, but adequate cardboard box. The mock PEQ box that controls functionality is plastic, but seems to be of good quality and would probably stand up to a bb strike (knock on wood). The tracer unit is a plastic housing for the batteries encased in a metal case that it threads into. The bb counter function, tracer unit, ROF calculator, and chronograph function all seem to work well.

Now for the part I'm not so thrilled about - the shot control unit. Although I'm not overly disappointed, I still expected it to function as advertised. I should also mention that the unit does not come with any kind of instruction manual, I managed to find one online. I would post the link but Evike review policy does not allow for it. I paired the shot (or 'bind'ed as the Xcortech folks put it) control unit to the control unit (peq) box. I was excited to try out burst functionality, but it absolutely will not work. I've tried running multiple different batteries, fiddled with it for hours, and it just will not work. On top of that, the "stop" function that is supposed to cut off firing when the battery level drops too low also does not function. When 'stop' is enabled, the motor will vibrate (signalling that the battery level is too low) even when I have a newly charged battery in it. Basically, whenever stop is enabled, the gun will not fire. Disappointing. The only thing that shot control unit is allowing me to do at this point, is view the voltage of my battery. Meh.

Overall though, not too bad. The tracer unit is outstanding, and keeps up with my 25 bbs/sec ROF without any problems. The LED in it is powerful and really illuminates tracer bbs well. As I said before, the Chronograph feature functions as it should. You can view measurements in either fps (feet per second) or mps (meters per second). The ROF measurement, sadly can only be viewed in rounds per minute, but a little math and you can quickly calculate your rounds per second. For what I paid, I suppose I'm happy with it. Many tracer units alone go for around this price, and round count function gives it a very futuristic feel and is sure to be a talking piece at events.

3/5.

"The electronics and function are super cool and the idea of it is awesome..I really want to like this product but it is just encased in such fragile and cheap plastic. The PEQ box does not attach well on the rail and breaks very easily. Would not recommend for field use (which makes the shot counter not feasible to use in game).

Again, I really wanted to like this product..the features truly are awesome and work like a charm...I just wished xcortech put the electronics in a more sturdy peq box. The tracer unit also feels cheap and fragile.

The lack of manual is annoying but not a deal breaker since you can find an online manual and/or YouTube videos. With some practice it is pretty easy to use.

"I had this product for around a month until the peq box basically fell apart on me, but my tracer unit is still going strong. What angered me the most about the the two was the drastic difference in their quality, the tracer is a high quality build starting with its metal shell that protects the plastic and internal electronic parts that allow it function, while the peq box is made from entirely from a very cheap plastic shell that cracked the second I mounted it on to my gun, that protected its very delicate electronic internals. Mine basically ended up kicking the bucket after a long day of play and finally put it in my gun case and closed it.

Pros
-Very well built tracer unit

-Every single round no matter how fast the RPS was lit

-The chrono is a very cool concept , and can display some pretty useful info

Cons

- The chrono was not built to last

- No instructions so your gonna have to find it online

- The locking lugs on the Chrono are plastic so... it may or may not end up going flying when running. ( didn't happen to me has happened to others.)

"This is just my personal experience with trying this product out. I was actually very excited to run with this, when using it to test my guns (all gbb) it was spot on and didn't skip a beat. Then I started taking it to games...the counter was HORRIBLE to say the least. Maybe it wasn't meant to handle gbb guns, but this was on a vector and it was inconsistent and after the second day out the display screen would only work on the farthest right place, everything else went dark keep in mind this was never dropped or shot at. Maybe it was just mine, but after that little fiasco I had all the players in the field shoot at the box with all the stuff inside. $125 wasted.
