"All metal where it needs to be - tube, trigger assembly and mount.
Hand guard is a solid polymer material.
You can mount this on a picatinny rail with the available hardware that comes with it. I ordered the short barrel as it fits well with the KWA SR7. Go for the long version if you have a M16 with a long barrel.
The only issue I had is they put a small screw on the orange tip and cut the head so you can't unscrew it at all to remove the orange tip. I used a Dremel to cut the orange tip and sand down the screw. Also there is a slight wobble but not bad. Throw a spray paint at this bad boy and you're ready to rock!

"It’s a good launcher but, the S&T follower guide sheared off when I opened the launcher aggressively. I managed to make a fix because the replacement part was out of stock. I’d recommend that you do not allow the m203 tube to slam forward, even when just using it’s own weight and momentum. The follower is very fragile.

"I got the short version which came in the S&T box and seemed like it was missing one of the front barrel mount pieces ( which might not be needed for the short one and omittedon purpose) but I intended to use the pic rail attachment to mount to a quad rail anyways so no big deal. It was easy to switch the plate and mount it. I did notice on my CYMA M4 that even completely tightened down it was loose so I had to shim it to get it tight.

After installing it I tested it out and noticed the firing pin was too short to reliably detonate the shells (25% ignition on Martix 60 round Red shells) so I had to add a small 2mm thick plastic disc to the pin to make it work every time with no failure.

After those mods I was up and running. Using shower shells you get a great spread at 30feet, enough to hit an entire squad of guys. Using the evike stress balls you can easily double that distance but it takes some practice to get accurate with them. Ping pong balls are also a hoot to shoot and you can put a few in there for a very scary short distance scatter gun. After about 30 shots the orange ring in the front cracked and flew off, but again I was planning on removing it so no matter to me.

Overall it's well constructed and tons of fun. I may have had to make some small mods for my setup but I am stoked to take this to my next milsim and try it out with some rockets on some vehicles. Grenade launchers are a ton of fun and they add another dimension to the game.

"You get what you pay for but would recommend.

Had this for about a year. It's true that the trigger doesn't go far enough to trigger most grenades. Can be solved by taking out safety and filing down the area where the trigger is hitting in fire mode. This will create more room for trigger to be pulled further.

After a first few games, the tab that holds the tube assembly to the rail/trigger assembly broke because it's made of cheap pot metal. Fortunate for me, I CADed a replica and had a friend manufacture a new one.

Also wobbles on the rail a little bit. A little electrical tape to fill in the gaps fixed the issue.

Pros:
Cheap
Works
Overall design is durable
Lighter weight than full metal (still heavy though)

Cons:
Small mechanical parts and tabs are made of pot metal (will eventually break)
Needs user modifications

"3.2 pounds of awesome. Fair warning if you aren't inclined to workout and build your arm muscles and use a sling with your rifle, get the plastic one. Okay lets move forwards. Overall I was highly impressed with this launcher. It fit well sort of (I have an isse with my delta ring being loose so thisisn't S&T's fault). It fired my shower shells and foam projectiles fine.and I didn't have an issue with the slide stop. I do hve one warning and it's for you front wired people:

YOU CAN BARREL MOUNT A FOREWIRED AEG WITH SOME SLIGHT MODIFICTIONS. Let me explain how I did it. I undid my fuse box and rain it to the left side of the barrel and the non fuse wire to the right so that the tamiya connector was on top of the barrel and wires on the sides with them allowing room for the barrel clamp to slide into the delta ring and not pinch the wires as it came up. You will have to have a handguard with room to mount a battery up top as well as remove your fake gas tubes or run it to an external PEQ Battery Box.

Now onto my one complaint. The spring retension in the front barrel clamp is absolute poorly assembled. China quality there but it's the only reason I won't give this thing a perfect score. I actually had to ind a 37mm real steal clamp to attach to lock things in place.

That being said, I am a happy grenadier If you don't mind the weight or modding your front wiring to fit, go for it.

"Overall this is a great launcher for the price. However, mine had some issues..

Pros:
-hefty (could be a con go some)
-durable
-solid
-came with different attachment points
-great look on any AEG a attache it to

Cons:
-off center (wouldnt matter to some)
-RIS attachment was loose

This is a nice looking and functioning launcher for the price. It’s a solid durable metal (which is a pro to me) and works like a dream! However, my main issue with this that was listed in thr cons was that the RIS attachment was loose. This made it near impossible to use on your gun without it wobbling around. I solved this by added a layer of electrical tape and now it fits perfectly fine. Evike did offer to replace it but i’m fine with adding a bit of tape and it works just as I said. I would recommend this launcher if your looking for a solid well performing launcher.

"This is a must have. I've had it for a couple months and it has not failed although one of my grenades was a gas guzzler. Other than that its worth the money!!!

"It's an M14 dude... don't put an M203 on it...

And for the love of God, do NOT expect something that weighs more than a feather to stay on some small plastic rail you glued on to your gun. Jesus...

"do you have to have the echo1 m16 with the partial rails like they show in the picture? i was thinking about buying one but i want to be sure it has to be that one before i get it and the m203

"This grenader is very well built, very many metal parts.every thing else depends on the type of grenade you buy

"I bought the mini variant and it didn't work out of the box, the launcher had an issue where the firing pin wasn't long enough to detonate the grenade. However it was a pretty easy fix, all I had to do was remove the safety and it. Build quality is pretty good, doesn't rattle that much and is pretty light.

"I just got this grenade launcher and it fits very well on my m4 no wobbling so far and looks amazing. The one con I have so far is that I have to pull the almost off to fit in my 40 mike shell and it’s a very tight fit to the point where it took some of the sticker off the shell, I’m sure it fits other smaller shells but just disappointed that it doesn’t really fit the one shell I enjoy using.
