H&K G36C Competition Series Airsoft AEG Rifle by Umarex (Color: Black / Reload Package)

"Pros:

I received this gun today and it's well-made and sturdy. The FPS is good with .20, but I will probably rock it with .25 or .28s, so the reliable FPS is gonna be about 350. It has a really good distance. Naturally, the shots are not straight, but for an out of the box gun, this puts a lot of the rounds right where you want them.

- good rails on underside and top (mounted a red dot on this)
- pre-drilled screwholes for adding rails on left and right

Cons -

Battery chamber is small, even with a thin nunchuck-style 9.6 1600 stuffed in there. Could not close the compartment fully, but still working on that one. Feels like I will have to rig up a PEQ. Now, with the 9.6, ROF is ok. Suitable for field use, but I'm going to try a 11.1 lipo in there to see how much of an increase I get.

All in all, considering this gun was marked down to $140 when I bought it AND had an 18 percent discount on top of that, you are basically talking about a $110 400 FPS AEG with custom components that can handle a lipo battery - I'm not sure you are going to beat that deal anywhere.

"This Airsoft rifle is pretty good to say the least. I bought mine with an AIM C Mag and have no regrets. The manual was for a different JG Airsoft rifle and I assume that is normal for JG, and it wasn't very helpful. Luckily YouTube is around otherwise I might not have known how to perform maintenance on it.
Installing the battery seems to be easy until you try to put the gun back together. Apparently there is a secret way to do it which involves putting it on, pulling it halfway back up, and locking it into place. Needless to say when I finally had the darn thing in after wrestling with the gun for 45 minutes, it turned out to be an amazing Airsoft gun.

"This gun is very fun and sturdy, looks good and aesthetically perfect. As far as internals go, the ROF with a 9.6 is faster than i expected. I do recommend getting the metal SRC hopup unit because the stock one cracked after some use and it doesnt put backspin anymore. also a guarder or matrix air nozzle would help this gun in the fps department. i put in a 6.03 TBB and i am hitting a 2 inch fencepost about 70-80 feet away consistently. very accurate! this gun is fairly reliable although i would not buy this gun if i wasn't going to upgrade it.

"I got this gun a couple of weeks ago and it is hard to describe my initial raction. it looks totaly awesome and looks and almost feels like metal. It is sturdy and it is made of an extremely strong plastic. it is pretty accurate just sighting down the open sight on top of the scope. it is a great and awesome looking gun.
But there were some things that dissapointed me. The scope was really hard to adjust (when i turned the adjustment screws nothing happened) but when i opened the scope up, the spring that made the crossair move was just jammed, so it was fixable. Also, even with hop up tuned, my .25 bbs curve down and to the left after about 100 feet. Sometimes when it is set on semi auto, the trigger pulls and no bbs will fire untill i cycle the selector swich into full auto and back, so that may become hindering in a game. Lastly, the Rate of Fire isnt too great, but im sure a better battery will fix that.

To sum it all up, this is a cool gun with some faults that i beleave were just in my gun. Worth the money, but invest in a battery as well. It hits hard and feels awesome.

"Ive had this gun for a few years. It is reliable, sturdy, and light as hell. A decent ROF not quite as high as others but its fine.

One problem i had is that even with .20 - .23 the BB's curve horribly. A guy atleast 30 feet away took me around 30 shots to aim it correctly for the curve to hit him. The BB's were curving around 6 feet, and there was almost no wind, Im guessing its a minor problem that is just me but overall its a nice gun.

I am switching this out for an M14, there are plenty of better guns than this but for its price it rocks.

"Okay I have had this gun for 4 months now. I haven't had any problems, just keep maintaining it. I have dropped it numerous times and once in a shallow creek. (3in) The gun did not break or even become loose after the horrid falls. The construction of the gun very much so exceeds my expectations of the contruction. ALSO!!! To all of you guys wondering if this gun comes in full metal, in real life the gun is made of a polymer material, plastic. So no it does not because in real life it isn't metal!!!!

"This was my first airsoft gun ever and I must I loved it! Long range and comes with an $80 scope. Totally awesome for the price, but the fuse doesn't stay in place very well (nothing a little scotch tape can't fix though) and replacing the battery is a major pain. All in all a great though.

"good gun, quiet and the built in scope is a neat feature, 2 flaws i found were the batterie and bodys almost if not all plastic (its sturdy enof thou.) the last thing isint realy big deals but the batterie is a huge pain. i couldint figure it out when i did its so hard to make the smallist airsoft batterie to fit i almost broke my gun trying. i dont think theres anyway to have i bigger bat, but thats all the pros are quiet, decent fps havint cronoed but it looks ok id say 340-360, scopes great, accurate folding stock is very strong, WARNING this is a easy fix get a flash hinder but the orange tip is realy gay its verry long and it seems fragle.

so i gave it 4/5 due to the batterie, mostly plastic body, and retarted orange tip

"This gun worked great for my brother for about a year...
But then all the parts started shattering! This gun works remarkably well considering that lots of the key components are brittle. The pins have all snapped, still long enough to use but a pain to get out. There is a part on the outer barrel that shattered, i've tried to fix it but couldn't.

replace the pins and buy a new inner barrel when they break
