" Functionality over form. Not shown in the photos on the product page is the magazine release built into the foregrip. This requires you to hold the button and pull the magazine at the same time to release your spare magazine. This design seems to work better with polymer magazines because metal shell mags stick and require a little more effort to pull out. The magazines I tried were Echo 1 metal M4 high capacity mags. I also tried a Evike BAMF polymer mag and that was easier to remove for the reload. The only two downsides I can see are the process of removing the magazine requiring two hands which forces you to hug the rifle against your shoulder, and the fact that the foregrip is very long and handles more like a magwell grip attachment than a proper foregrip. Four stars because of the reload process. Great product for getting looks at your next match and "for-giggles-only" setups.
