"Love it! VERY impressed with the Lantac the gearbox is insane. Almost 30rps on an 11.1 lipo and is a literal bullet hose. It shoots way faster than all my $500+ builds and guns and the gearbox's board plays music when you plug it in. However, I'm not the biggest fan of the finish on the hand-guard I've not ever really liked cyma's finish they use on all their metal handguards it makes it feel cheaper and not as nice in the hands as paint like on my krytac, but it is a lot less. The hopup is also kinda basic and hard to move the wheel but if you drop a 6.01 and a maxx hopup in this thing you've got a beast and not to mention the gearbox reliability. The trigger pull is slightly on the harder side but its very firm and an even pull but the actual break of the trigger is very short and light so the trigger response is absolutely phenomenal especially for the price of the m4. Also the motor grip is nice
All in all I recommend!

"Got this from the box of awesomeness and so far im loving it. Its true the hop up is annoying but I replaced it with an EMG MAXX hopup unit and longer barrel to put on a mock suppressor. The thing is a beast now and would recommend this as one high end entry m4.

"I got this from the march madness box of awesomeness. Very nice feel to the gun, its built well and looks nice. Came with a good mid-cap. Any suggestions on taking the orange that dont invlove pliers or boiling water?

"Good Quality and has some nice features compared to some of the other M4s. Its Externals are worth it and the internals are better than majority of the stock guns that are out there.

"I got this from “The box of awesomeness” and just by looking at it I could tell it was worth the money.
Almost everything is made out of metal so it is a little heavy and solid but I don’t mind it!
Bought some 7.4 Li-po batteries and this thing shoots perfect!
The only downside to this is that it does NOT have any sights so you will have to spend an extra $30 on one.
A little complicated to take off the orange tip but other than that i recommend this rifle for new and experienced airsoft players!

"Just got the carbine 400fps gun in my mystery box. Shoots a laser beam with an 11.1, more reasonable full auto with 7.4. Nice accuracy and range with .25s, mag that came with it seems to be a decent midcap. Looks and feels extremely well built, stock has a nice latch makes battery change easy.

"I just got this in the Mystery Open Box Deal and man this thing shoots straight ropes with an 11.1 LiPo! Super solid and gorgeous construction with no wiggle or play, except with the magazine in the mag well, like all airsoft guns. The trigger is the most responsive trigger I've ever had in an AEG, and I was running a Gate Titan before. Thanks a lot Evike! I'm beyond excited!

"So I have had my Lantac for about two years now and figured I would give it a solid review
I won it in a box of awesomeness sometime ago and it had multiple wiring issues, in fact I had to send it back to evike nine times over the course of a few months to get it fixed because you can't return or exchange items won in a BOA. Whenever I would get it back, there would be more issues. These include firing on full auto ON SAFETY just when I plugged in the battery, not firing after about ten shots, or just not firing altogether.
Finally I got it back the ninth time and it kind of worked with some quirks, but I figured I would run with it and just spend some time and money getting this thing field-ready.
The hop up was broken, so I bought an ME MAXX hop up, prometheus 6.03 inner barrel, maple leaf bucking 60, and she shot much better afterwards. Had it RHOPed as well. This was about a year ago. Took it to a field and the MOSFET broke after a few games.
Bought a new mosfet and took it to a field again, and she worked beautifully. For most of the day. After a few games the piston gear in my motor broke, and would keep falling out from the gearbox despite screwing it back in every hundred shots or so. Got a new motor altogether and brought it to the field again a few weeks ago and FINALLY, after TWO years of going back and forth with evike and multiple techs, she lasted the whole day. And MAN did she shoot well. Now I will give my pros and cons
Whenever the lantac would work, it always had some amazing qualities that made it worth it to make sure she was field ready.
Pros:
amazing trigger response out of the box
ROF is insane
Can handle 11.1s like a champ
I have the SBR version, and it is very ergonomic and able to be manipulated
With the upgrades, I can shoot 230 feet with .28s, with surprising accuracy as well. It shoots farther than most AEGs at my local field Warped Ops.
VERY consistent FPS, always between 330 and 340
Great battery compartment space
Cons:
With upgrades and getting it fixed, NONE.
It seems like I just got a lemon, but the Lantac really is a phenomenal AEG for its price. I just hope you don't run into the same problems I had. It is a great platform for upgrades. So just for the headache in getting it ready I gave it 4 stars, but the performance that my patience gave fruit to is fantastic.
Hope this helps! I do recommend it highly.

"4 stars to begin with, great gun, crazy rps with an 11.1v lipo however the motor inside the handguard is always slipping out and is poorly designed also the stock comes loose. Other than that great gun

"**Disclaimer** I got this out of the Box of Awesomeness
Don't confuse what I say, this is an excellent rifle but coming from an upgraded ARP9 I was bound to find something disappointing.
Pros
- Amazing build quality
- Beautiful (especially with the muzzle break)
- ROF with an 11.1v is insane out of the box
- Working bolt catch
Cons
- God awful hopup
- Wobbly stock
- Mushy trigger pull
- Pistol grip is super chunky and uncomfortable
Overall out of the box I would recommend this rifle however I feel that it makes a superb base for dropping an HPA engine in due to the amazing externals. The biggest gripe I have with this rifle is the awful hopup, it hurts your nail to adjust and does basically nothing outdoors, for a $350 rifle I would have expected a decent rotary hopup.

"Got this as part of open box mystery box but there I one con I have with gun the hopup is insane hard to adjust

"Go t2 of this rifles in BOA both have same issues Quality of externals no good they are in good order but take the whole thing apart you'll find the defects . You will have to align the outer barrel with the hop up unit is not straight and that causes feeding issues in some mags the hop up unit is all glue in to barrel don't bother eBay elvish tactical for $90 you get a complete barrel with Rhop flat hop up unit shoots over 200ft no issues with 28 and 30 s bbs. If you are going to replace mosfet look in to Kythera HPA upgrade you will love it

"It's basically a standard Cyma Platinum M4 with LanTac trades.
I received mine with a misaligned mock bolt that does not move forward when I depress the bolt release and the grub screw on the muzzle break was already stripped.
These are very easy things to fix but first impressions are definitely lackluster.
Great performance, less than average QC.
