"Works fine for what it is designed--basic trickle charger for AEP batteries. This is for the handgun types such as the TM G18C AEP and CYMA CM.030 AEP. This is not for the MP7, Skorpion, or MAC-10 because those use a larger battery with a different insertion method.
This does not appear to have an automatic peak detection feature so it should not be considered a "smart charger". There is a red LED on the brick part itself to indicate power going to the battery but that's about it.
I actually used this to create a charge lead adapter for my AEP lipo batteries. I cut the main wires and then stripped each wire to solder on an XT30 female connector. The black is for black/negative and the white is for positive. Now I can use a charger, like the IMAX B6, to manage my AEP lipo batteries.

"I just received this item because the charger That came with my VZ61 Skorpion was European and the included adapter did not work. This charger does not fit MP7 or Skorpion micro type batteries. If you are buying it for either of those electric guns, this won't work. It's too small. Good luck finding the right one. I'm going to try getting an adapter or a replacement charger at RadioShack.

"Doesn't automatically shut off. Can't tell if the battery was fully charged. Payed $32 for the Tokyo marui charger. Hopefully it works better.

"Don't buy. There is no way to know if it's working, when it's done, or that it no longer works. I just bought this one based on the comments: https://www.evike.com/products/61589/. Does anyone know if there is a high-quality charger for these types of batteries?
