"I've been fielding and plinking with this gun for over a year now and it's still chugging. Besides changing out the spring for lower fps, it still has its stock internals. I suppose it's slow by today's standards, but it shoots straight and far, even without the hop-up adjusted. I've already had two people tell me that my gun sounds like its batteries are dying.

Performance aside, I got this gun mostly for its externals and because it's featured in some of my favorite video games. As my first AEG, it's unique but I can still disassemble it like an M4. When I saw it had a quick change spring guide, I read it as the easy spring access system. The spring is not accessible from the lower receiver, you still need to take out the gearbox shell to change the spring.

Because it's front wired, I have to pry and slide up the handguard to access the battery compartment. Maybe it's just me but I found myself pinching wires during reassembly. The skeleton folding stock is rigid, yet easy to collapse. There are holes under the handguard that aren't necessarily threaded but can fit M-LOK screws for mounting a pic rail/foregrip (at least that's what I did). Solid build quality and a lot of upgrade potential.

Tl;dr It's old, but solid. It still feels pretty good holding this gun.

"Enjoyed Killzone 2 or STALKER? You'll love this gun.

Simple AEG that does the job the unique spin on the design of the M4. The heatshield and the handguard is all that is needed to catch eyes on the field. In terms of performance, it is pretty basic for what it is and the price, I was able to hit guys a little over 110 feet with .25g BBs. When I got it, I switched out the motor for an ASG 30K motor so I can get the preferred trigger response and rate of fire. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the charging handle is purely cosmetic, it does not flip open the dust cover. You need to manually pry it open and keep it open whilst adjusting the hopup. For 230 dollars, I expected a little more. Other from that I would recommend this gun to anyone looking for a unique M4.

"If you're a Metal Gear Solid V fan, then you'll probably love this gun.

Pros:
~Unique handguard
~Side folding skeleton stock
~Full Metal Receiver
~Unique hand grip

Cons:
~Tight battery compartment (handguard itself)
~Orange flash hider is a pain to remove

Overall, this was my first AEG rifle I got for my 18th birthday. But I've had no major gripes or issues. I definitely recommend this as a beginner's AEG.

"I just got this gun in the mail from Evike and i love it!!
Everything is all metal except the grips, they are plastic but are very solid. Out of the box the gun shoots about 380 with .20g and the ROF is amazing. My friend has the same gun with a m110 spring in it and its shooting 398 fps with .25g The gearbox is very sold, comes with everything you would expect. Overall i would recommend this gun to anyone if you are looking for a dependable high quality out of box AEG

"Great gun. It has a LOT of power, and is extremely accurate. I can hit a thin-link chain with it from 30+ yards away. I heard that A&K used to have bad interiors, but that does not apply to the GR-300. The gearbox is well-built. The entire gun is made almost exclusively out of metal, which makes it very sturdy and well-balanced. The mag locks tightly into place, with no rattle at all (at least on mine). The only cons to this gun are the plastic handgrip, which feels cheap compared to the rest of it, and the fact that the paint scratches off easily, especially from the magazine. Also, the M120 spring requires a lot of power to pull back, Which makes the RPM rather unimpressive (around 600-rounds-per-minute), as well as rendering you with a short battery life. So I would suggest investing in a high-quality battery if you buy this, at least a 9.6V Ni-MH, but an 11.1 V Li-Po works best. Definitely recommended.

"Had this gun for 2 years now and it has worked great! easy to tune up and has a wide space for a battery. Only downfall is it does not come with rails. still a great and accurate gun

"This Weapon is amazing! I Just received it yesterday and I was surprised to feel how heavy this gun was.I liked it. The battery fits perfectly in the chamber. It has a little rattle with the magazine, but that's all that's bad about this Weapon. It hurts when you get shot from close range, so you probably may want to get a pistol or lower FPS Weapon. In all this Gun is AMAZING! Great buy for 185.00. Recommended.

"Got this out of the love for the gun in STALKER, gotta say, i was super impressed. theres no manual to tell you anything about how to take off the handguard and whatnot but just twisting the handguard a bit will let it slide off smoothly. Came with the tool to tighten the nut on the base of the stock, a small flathead, a hi cap mag, and two QD sling mounts.

Pros:
-suprisingly high quality metal body
-well-constructed wiring
-decently high torque motor installed already
-more space than an M4A1 to slide the wires into/out of the handguard

Cons:
-total pain to reassemble if you dont have the perfect tools (lots of Allen keys)
-Out of the box, was shooting 400 FPS with a 0.25g BB (not field legal at any CQB field in New England

"Okay, let me start by saying this thing is the shizz. I brought this and a king arms m4 to the Rhodesian revolt in the sand box. The name says it all. Sandy, 100 degrees then below freezing. Tbh e king arms seized up right in the beginning, and this little guy held up for 24 more hours straight. I got mine on a trade for a busted m14, but had to let you guys know it's a great lr300 replica. Fair warning though, as with any stock gun, 24 hours straight wears the piston out. FPS dropped, but this mofo still stays accurate enough at 200 feet out. And I'll tell you, the barrel is not tight bore and the brand is a&k. This thing is awesome. Plus it fits a reflex and the tracer/mosfet/chrono set on here.

"Thoroughly impressed by this gun. It's a really great platform for the price and it's an all metal main body that shoots around 390 fps. I recommend this gun to everyone Because of the price and build. The only thing i can complain about is the magazine well but even then it's only a little wobbly. Use an 7.4v battery ONLY! 12v battery will strip your gears.
