"as everybody knows, cyma plats are fantastic guns, even better to upgrade, I wanted to share a few notes on upgrading the rapid strike.

the first thing I discovered is that everything on the front end is loctited, not just the flash hider, but the rail is as well, you will need a torch if you dont want to strip anything.

the biggest concern I had before I started upgrading was putting a aftermarket mosfet in it, specifically a perun, I can only speak to the perun as its the mosfet i put in this, I have titans but as im certain you know titan_perun.

my concern was largely based on the fact that this has a 45 degree selector, I was worried about the units ability to detect that small amount of travel on the selector plate. speaking of which is unique to this model, and it is incredibly difficult to get a sticker on it, I actually got so frustrated trying to not only put a sticker on it, but also getting it to stay that I tried it without the sticker. I am happy to report the perun can pick up the the selector plate by itself and does not require a sticker, this is after a half a dozen games or so, i have not had a single issue with it, it picks up the positions perfectly.

something that I was displeased to find is that this comes with the old fashioned m4 hop up that has several gears on the outside of the hop up unit, its kind of disappointing honestly that the hop up is stone age, I had a cyma rotary hop up lying in my spare parts and it fits and feeds perfectly in this, I did how ever have to abandon running a spring on the front the unit to push it back into the gear box, it is still very consistent.

something that I did not notice is that the gun uses an additional tube to get the bbs to the hop up, very similar to the guns that are a m4, but take ak magazines, this increases the amount of bbs you end up dumping on the floor when you change magazines. frankly i believe it to be the nature of the beast given that the gear box is standard vs 2. that being said my work around is that if i had the time i would simply turn the gun upside down and change the magazine. but it is something to be aware of is that there is going to be an additional expense of just wasting around 10 or so bbs every magazine change.

speaking of the magazine it is the only thing I dont like about the gun, not the magazine itself, those are fantastic, but I find the fitment to be tighter than to my liking, it requires more force to get it to seat fully so the magazine release catches it. that is truly my only gripe with the gun, its a great starter gun, but even better to upgrade, absolutely thrilled that it took the perun and rotary unit no problem.

I dont really have much else to add other than if this rifle catches your eye, your money wont be wasted on it, and it takes to upgrades very well.

"So I have had this gun for about a month now and I can honestly say that I have almost no gripes. It does not shoot super far but that’s only to be expected because I have the PDW. This isn’t really a fault of the gun since it recommended using a smaller battery anyway but the stock is kind of small, and since I run an 11.1 li-on battery it only fits with the stock all the way extended, but I have long arms so it doesn’t really matter. I put an enormous CV life red dot on it and it makes the gun look tiny😂 but it works really well.

Pros:
•This thing shoots like crazy with an 11.1v li-on, probably close to 30 rounds a second!

•Super compact, but the almost all metal design makes it feel really realistic.

•Comes with two mags, not just one like it is advertised, which is super nice because this spits ammo like crazy!

•The MOSFET is amazing! Super sensitive and it never jams up no matter how fast I pull it!

•The fore grip that it comes with is super nice.

•The Iron sights are super nice.

Cons:

•Not related to the actual gun but the curved mag that is advertised with the gun does not stay in at all and hardly feeds on full auto.

•Doesn’t shoot very far but could also be a pro if you do a lot of CQB.

Overall would highly recommend this gun for anybody.

PS.The price might make you turn away but it’s worth every dollar believe me.
