The Special Operations Peculiar MODification (SOPMOD) Block II is an accessory system for the M4A1 carbine comprised of a full length monolithic rail system and a heavier free-floating "SOCOM" profiled barrel. The real life counterpart of this barrel would provide better accuracy versus the original and helps to mitigate heat when firing with a suppressor or when in cyclic.

The Daniel Defense licensed RIS II handguard is a free-floating, two piece, ultra lightweight front rail system. It provides a full length mounting surface for all 20mm Picatinny compatible accessories: From grips, lights, PEQ boxes and anything in between. The handguard system is designed to accommodate an M203 grenade launcher with no special tools required. Integrated Ambidextrous QD Sling Swivel Mounts Points provide modular, limited rotation to suit your preferences. The ultra lightweight, free float design allows for quicker target acquisition.

"I bought this gun in 2023 and it has been my main rifle since I got it. I bought the tan version when it was 350ish. It has been my most reliable platform so far and I have done numerous upgrades. Stock it performed fine. The trigger response as not great on the 9.6 battery but it was battery after switching to a 7.4. I then upgraded it with a maple leaf macaron bucking, 6.02 barrel and omega nub. The range was already good but I can now hit people 200 feet plus prettly consistently. I then put in 16:1 gears and a perun hybrid v2 and the trigger response has been great. I am now switching out the motor after a few years on this setup as it is starting to wear out. It held up pretty well for a stock motor on upgraded internals. The gearbox is half quick change, you have to get the gearbox out of the body, from there you can access the quick change port. The externas are great, you get colt and DD trades.

Overall great externals, fine internals stock but could probably use upgrades to compete with newer guns at the same price. If you want the tan version now that it is 450 I would reccomend just buying the newer avalon version if you care about internals.

"My first time getting a real airsoft gun. I Omit that weight is good also feels really sold. My back stock wasn’t wobbly or any issues with my weapon. I recommend this airsoft gun to anyone who’s looking for a sold and good looking gun. I’m planning to buy furniture to complete my future build. Can’t wait to take it to the field.

"Great rifle, runs fine with 7.4v 25C battery, I don't recommend an 11.1v as it doesn't have a mosfet. Internals are fine, externals are great, and the only flaw I had was a slightly wobbly buffer tube that was quickly fixed by tightening down a phillips screw that held it in place.

Pros:
Daniel Defense rail feels highly durable and high quality
Stock Internals are great as is
Colt trademarks (No daniel defense trademarks though)
Cons:
Hopup unit could be better
Stock that comes included has a bit of wobble and doesn't fit tight on the buffer tube
No Mosfet
