"i have 2 of the real and expensive tango down grips and this is functionally the same in most aspects. if you adjust the tension screw its perfect. great value for $15 considering i have never paid less than $60 for the real TD grip

"The grip is pretty good but the locking mechanism is not the best. The spring popped out of mine luckily I found it and was able to put it back in.

It seems like a lot of people buying this don’t realize the clamp is adjustable!!! To adjusted the tension you have to put the lever in the released position and push in, this will pop the screw out allowing you to loosen or tighten the screw!!!

Also mine came used, it looks like somebody tried to screw in the bolt, but didn’t realize how to do it :/

"Rail fitment is iffy - too loose on some guns, too tight (the middle bar fitting between rail gaps is too wide) on others. The attachment mechanism is bulky and doesn't lock well. I don't recommend this version of this grip.
